J's-R-us Travel was established in 1996 when the founder and owner Janice Jones joined a Network Company that sold Travel. Janice became an Independent Travel Agent under America's Travel Companies,Inc. The newly founded home-based business started out slow, as she was working full time as a Secretary for Modesto Christian School while working the Travel business on the side. Over the years, with the help of family, friends and word of mouth, her home-based business grew. In the summer of 1999 she was able to leave her position at Modesto Christian School and become a full time Independent Travel Agent working from home. Since then she has been learning and experiencing the world of travel by visiting many destinations. Janice has earned many Destination Specialist Certifications and has attended travel training seminars and classes to remain on the cutting edge within the world of travel.
