By attending an all day intensive training course about selling Mexico and being able to go with the Mexico Ministry of Tourism to the Riviera Maya, I have achieved my Mexico Specialists status. The educational program helped to strengthen my knowledge of Mexico and by visiting the Riviera Maya gave me a better understanding of Mexico and it's people, not to mention the wonderful food!

While in Mexico I was able to visit the Tulum pyramids, swim down an under ground river in Xcaret and experience the culture and history of the Mayan people, snorkel down a river in Xel Ha, eat at Mayan and Cuban Restaurants and do site inspections of several of the resorts and hotels in the Playa del Carmen area. I also visited Aktun Chen, which is a Natural Park with a Cave and a Wild Life Zoo where I held a boa constrictor and played with a spider monkey. I was really able to discover...The Magic of Mexico!
