To achieve my Cayman Island Specialist status I Completed an extended education home study course, Familiarization (FAM) and test and then invited to visit Grand Cayman Island with their Depart of Tourism.

There are few islands in the Caribbean that have a tourism infrastructure that can compare to that found in the Cayman Islands. The Caymanian people are known for their courtesy and civility. They are also very proud of their islands and their heritage. The beaches are wide, sandy, palm-fringed and beautiful. The diving and snorkeling is world-class.

While on Grand Cayman I took a submarine ride on the Atlantis, snorkeled and got to pet stingrays in Stingray City, visited a Turtle Farm where I held a baby turtle, and did site inspections of several of the hotels and condominiums on the island. I also was given the opportunity to go on a private yacht to the Country Club for a wonderful dinner. There was also a full moon shinning on the water to make everything perfect.
